Marion Senior Services is a non profit, charitable social agency providing supportive care services to elderly, disabled and disadvantaged residents of Marion County, Florida.  We help our clients to remain living in their own homes independently as long as possible by providing Meals, Transit and In-Home Support services to them.  A variety of public, private and donor funding enables us to provide services to most people in need, regardless of their ability to pay.  Services are provided on a sliding fee basis from no cost to full pay.  Click on the tabs to learn more about our services, eligibility and how to apply.  Marion Senior Services also depends on over 300 volunteers to help us deliver Meals on Wheels, provide Respite Care or companionship for our clients. In-Home Support: 

Non-medical assistance in a client’s home with long-term care activities such as homemaking, personal care, meals, etc. 

Services Include:

Adult Day Care, Case Management, Emergency Alerts, Energy Assistance, Homemaker Services, Legal Assistance, Meals On Wheels, Personal Care, Respite Care, Nutritional Supplement, etc.

Nutrition Programs: 

Meals on Wheels for homebound clients and eleven congregate meal sites that provide both a nutritious meal and socialization, health education, and recreation activities for those seniors still able to leave their homes.

Transportation:

Transport in vans and mini-buses on an individual basis for citizens who have no other means of getting to essential appointments, grocery shopping, etc. Most vehicles are wheel-chair and lift equipped.
