Art of Aging

Art of Aging is a collaborative effort of Marion Senior Services and Marion Cultural Alliance that celebrates aging through art, stories, and education. Whether one admits this or not, celebrating another birthday can be daunting, especially when the number continues to climb, but that higher number is a blessing and should be celebrated!

This unique exhibit celebrates aging in photographs, lectures, and paintings by Marion Cultural Alliance member artists over 55.

The month-long exhibit is graciously sponsored by the Robert Boissoneault Oncology Institute, Urology Institute of Central Florida, and a host of others. The Art of Aging opening reception is 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, August 1st. The exhibit concludes on August 30th. During the month, Marion Senior Services will host various receptions and the Gifts of Aging Series, which are educational lunches and learns to promote healthy aging.
