Letter from the Executive Director
Happy Holidays from Marion Senior Services!
As our Thanksgiving and day of gratitude ends, I cannot help to feel overwhelmed with joy. Our Agency had the opportunity to touch the lives of so many, and it is such a great privilege to positively impact our community.
Our Thanksgiving celebration included volunteers and community partners who are more like family. Serving our community is a passion for us and the heartbeat of our organization. In the following pages, you will feel the love in the faces that grace the pages. I am thankful for all those who worked to make this day possible.
As we approach Christmas and the New Year, merriment and excitement are building. The office is looking more like the North Pole and the team is focused on starting 2024 with great momentum. As one of our team shared today while welcoming a new member, “Welcome aboard the MSS! Full s(team) ahead!”
I have said it many times this year, and I will continue to say, “Thank you!”. Thank you for everything that you have done, and everything that you will do for our elders. We enjoyed celebrating our 50th Anniversary this year and will be honored to serve another 50! We are blessed with a beautiful and generous community!
We love and cherish all of you, and we hope that 2024 is full of blessings!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Martinez, Executive Director
